Seychelles Beach in World's Top 10

Voted one of the 10 best beaches in the world, a Yahoo! online survey featured Anse Lazio on Praslin as one of the 10 places that embodies the perfect beach getaway.
The Yahoo! survey writes: “With Emirates airline increasing its daily flights to Seychelles, it’s easier than ever to visit the archipelago in the Indian Ocean.
“Our readers recommend Anse Lazio on Praslin, Seychelles’ second largest island, for an ideal beach getaway.”
Nestled in Chevalier Bay, Anse Lazio feels like a hidden oasis, thanks to the giant granite boulders that shelter its white sandy beach and bright turquoise sea.
“The shoreline remains largely untouched by buildings, aside from a few beach bars and restaurants located back among the palm trees, and a coral reef that keeps the waters calm also makes for an ideal snorkelling and swimming spot.”
The other nine top beaches in the world, according to the survey, are Sanur Beach in Bali; Hahei Beach in New Zealand; Ka’anapali in Maui, Hawaii; Cas Abao Beach in Curacao; Coronado Beach in San Diego; Santa Marta in Colombia; Santa Rosa Beach in Florida; Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres in Mexico; and Monterrico in Guatemala.
